I just got back from my monthly meeting of the Calico Cutups of the Arizona Quilt Guild. They are a great bunch and if you live in the west valley of Phoenix, you need to check them out. They have fun, fun, fun and do lots of different types of activities. Something for Everyone.
Our group will be very busy this year as our committee has some wonderful plans for the women. Making glitzy crazy quilt bags, doing patchwork or crazy quilt sweatshirts, and making kits for community service projects. Stop by if your in the neighborhood and see what we are doing. We get together on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.

Two of my sons are retired Air Force, one in Colorado Springs and one in Fairbanks, Alaska, and one grandson on active duty. Thankfully, none of them has ever been wounded. But it does make me feel very close to all the Wounded Warriors.
